What: The new full-color LTE poster from Agilent "Understanding the Intricacies of LTE" is designed as a reference tool to help engineers understand this evolving communication standard. Recent updates include technical detail on FDD and TDD frame structures, including downlink and uplink physical mapping, downlink configurations and TDD 5-ms switch periodicity mapping
Agilent has also updated their popular application note, "3GPP Long Term Evolution: System Overview, Product Development, and Test Challenges". This 90-page document describes the basic concepts of LTE technology with a focus on the radio and protocol aspects of the air interface. Information crucial to design and test engineers, including LTE's use of multiple antenna techniques (MIMO) and RF conformance tests for the base station (eNB) and user equipment (UE). This update includes the June 2009 3GPP Release 8 specifications.
