A brief retrospective at electronica this year will highlight some of these test and measurement milestones in celebration of the company's 75th anniversary. New products will also be on display to demonstrate that the Rohde & Schwarz spirit of innovation is still going strong. In signal analysis, for example, the R&S FSV is redefining the mid-range class. In EMC, the R&S ESL test receiver delivers a cost-effective solution for performing precise precompliance and diagnostic measurements. These and more new products are waiting to be discovered at booth 307 in hall A1.

R&S FSV: market-leading speed and precision in a mid-range signal and spectrum analyzer
Virtually every performance characteristic of the R&S FSV is ahead of its competition in the mid-range market. In particular, only the R&S FSV features an analysis bandwidth of 40 MHz, which means it covers a wide range of wireless standards from 3GPP LTE to WLAN 802.11n. Moreover, the instrument's touch screen is an innovative operating concept that makes measurements more user-friendly. This powerful analyzer can be used in product development and production. Available in two models, it covers the frequency range from 9 kHz to 3.6 GHz or 7 GHz.

Cost-effective path to EMC certification from Rohde & Schwarz
The new R&S ESL EMI test receiver from Rohde & Schwarz performs precise precompliance and diagnostic measurements up to 3 GHz or 6 GHz. This compact instrument stands alone in its price class: It offers fully automated test sequences employing the latest weighting detectors compliant with CISPR 16-1-1. Like all EMI test receivers from Rohde & Schwarz, the R&S ESL can also be used as a full-featured spectrum analyzer so users can enjoy maximum benefit from their investment.
