Columbia, MD August 29, 2007 Rohde & Schwarz today announced that it has enhanced its R&S FSUP spectrum analyzer/phase noise tester with signal analysis capability for wireless standards and a removable hard drive that makes it well suited for use in secure environments. The R&S FSUP is the only instrument that combines a spectrum analyzer and phase noise tester in a single instrument, which provides unique capabilities for applications such as RF and microwave component measurements and evaluation of communications and radar systems. The instrument is now available with signal analysis functionality for mobile communications standards, including Bluetooth, GSM, 3GPP, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000, and 1xEV-DO. This allows it to become a single-instrument solution for developers and manufacturers of mobile radio components and equipment. In addition, it can now be equipped with a removable hard drive that allows all data to be removed from the instrument for enhanced security in aerospace and defense applications. Both enhancements to the R&S FSUP are available now from Rohde & Schwarz.
