Agilent Technologies demonstrates compliance testing portfolio, previews new solution Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) is exhibiting its portfolio of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tools and solutions, ranging from general purpose to pre-compliance and compliance testing, at the 2006 IEEE EMC Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Aug. 14 - 18. Agilent's EMC portfolio offers high-performance solutions to R&D and manufacturing engineers working with electronics, communications, information technology, aerospace, defense and a variety of other applications. "Accurate and comprehensive evaluation of EMI compliance is an essential part of a successful design and product cycle," said Jim McCord, EMC product manager for Agilent. "Agilent is the trusted source for the tools that have the accuracy, speed and dependability to accomplish EMI testing and overcome difficult troubleshooting challenges." In its booth, the company will display the latest addition to its Agilent PSA series of spectrum analyzers -- the PSA Compliance Receiver -- which returns Agilent to the CISPR compliance testing market after a six-year absence. Agilent is offering a preview of the compliance receiver although it won't be commercially available until 2007. (For more information about the compliance receiver, see related news release.) These products also will be featured in Agilent's booth: PSA E4440A (and Preselector N3039A) measures and monitors complex RF and microwave signals up to 26.5 GHz; E4407 Spectrum Analyzer sets the standard for measurement speed, dynamic range, accuracy and resolving power for mid-performance spectrum analyzers; N1911/21A Power Meter provides wide bandwidth and fast, accurate and repeatable measurements for R&D and manufacturing uses; MSO6104A Oscilloscope with Mega Zoom III technology, the most powerful scope in its performance class; and E5071B ENA Network Analyzer, which offers fast and accurate measurements for RF components.
