Modelithics announced that it will now provide direct distribution and support of all model libraries and custom models for Eagleware/Agilent GENESYS and HARBEC simulation software, in the same way it continues to support Agilent ADS customer’s needs for improved accuracy model libraries.
Since 2003, Modelithics substrate-scalable passive model libraries have been supplied by Modelithics Inc. and distributed by Eagleware-Elanix. By mutual agreement, Modelithics is now responsible for distribution and support of its active and passive models for both Eagleware/Agilent GENESYS and HARBEC simulators as well as Agilent ADS. Eagleware/Agilent will continue to renew codewords for previous model library versions, but any future updates to the libraries themselves will be provided by Modelithics.
Agilent and Modelithics are working cooperatively on this transition. One important item is that Modelithics has a significant quality update available now in the form of a free patch that corrects issues with certain models that can arise in DC simulations (download available here). Modelithics is also offering a 30 percent discount on Modelithics GENESYS upgrades (will include many new models) and on new orders for ADS and GENESYS model libraries during this transition period.
