Cobham will exhibit at, and conduct a number of presentations during, the upcoming International Microwave Symposium for 2011 (IMS 2011), 7-10 June 2011 at the Baltimore Convention Center, MD.
As part of the IMS 2011 official program, Cobham will present a briefing on the company’s monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) and phased arrays on June 10, 2011 at 3:35 pm.
The presentation --"Low Cost Technologies for High Performance Electronically Steered Arrays" -- will be conducted by Cobham employees Darren Ferwalt and Chris Ison as part of an IMS 2011 workshop titled "Electronically Steered Arrays for Radar, Communications and Electronic Warfare: Are They Affordable And Are They Ready to Assume Their Place in Advanced 21st Century Systems?"
“We hope this presentation will further raise Cobham’s visibility in the phased array development community, and introduce our products to more key engineers from potential customers,” said Ferwalt, Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer.
Cobham will also present a briefing in booth #1024 about the company’s Light Weight Gimbal Assembly (LWGA), a compact, dual-axis concentric unit that can be used for multiple applications aboard medium to large unmanned aerial systems.
