Racal Instruments Group announced its official re-launch as EADS Test & Services — said to be the world’s largest aerospace and defence test and services provider. Key to the re-launch is EADS commitment to proactively re-shape its UK business in response to the UK MoD’s recent Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) white paper. “We have listened carefully to the requirements of the UK government and its focus in the DIS on through life support,” said Stefan Zoller, CEO of EADS Defence & Security Systems. “The re-launch of Racal Instruments Group as EADS Test & Services is a clear response to that challenge. More than any other nation, the UK is leading the world in this sector and not only are we demonstrating our commitment to the MoD but we are also positioning ourselves long-term for future domestic and international opportunities in the military and civil markets.”
The company has been a leading supplier of test solutions to the UK and international defence and aerospace markets for over 40 years. It has worked closely with the MoD and all major prime contractors to provide cost effective, future-proofed test systems for the through life support of military and avionic equipment.
