Comtech receives antitrust clearance for TeleCommunication Systems Inc. acquisition

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that the applicable waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 (HSR) with respect to the previously announced tender offer by its direct wholly owned subsidiary, Typhoon Acquisition Corp., for all outstanding shares of common stock of TeleCommunication Systems Inc. at a price of $5.00 per share, net to the seller in cash, without interest and less required withholding taxes and subsequent merger of Typhoon Acquisition Corp. with TCS terminated on December 18, 2015.
