AR's "S" Series Power Amplifiers Pack More Power into Smaller Packages

AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation has introduced a family of new “S” solid-state series amplifiers that are more compact, more efficient and more powerful than previous models.

The new “S” Series includes the following models (all cover the 0.8 to 4.2 GHz frequency range):

Model 15S1G4 (15 W CW)
Model 30S1G4 (30 W CW)
Model 60S1G4 (60 W CW)
Model 120S1G4 (120 W CW)

These new amplifier models employ a new design that delivers more than twice the power of older models. The new, more efficient design consumes less power, and incorporates both USB and Ethernet interfaces in addition to the standard IEEE and RS-232 interfaces. With these improvements, AR has maintained the superior rugged design for load tolerance and excellent linearity.
