Two-Stage Variable Gain Driver Amplifier: QPA1008

RFMW announces design and sales support for a variable gain amplifier (VGA) from Qorvo. The QPA1008 is a two-stage variable gain amplifier for S-Band applications from 2.7 to 3.8 GHz. It includes a 30 dB analog attenuator and resistively coupled power detector at the output for circuits requiring power monitoring. < 20 nS bias switching for quick turn-on/turn-off operation improves system sensitivity in commercial and military radar, communications systems and test and measurement applications.
