RFMW Assists Rakon's Launch of Industry's Smallest OCXO

RFMW announced design and sales support for the world’s smallest ASIC based oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) from Rakon. The Rakon U8176LF 10MHz OCXO meets the stringent requirements of 5G remote radio head, small cell, optical network and microwave transmission system applications. Combined with Rakon’s renowned, patented Mercury+™ ASIC with advanced SC-cut strip crystal technology, this device delivers excellent frequency stability (≤±20 ppb) in a miniature, 7 x 5 mm package. Supporting frequencies from 10 to 50 MHz, phase noise is as low as -160 dBc/Hz.
