AWR, the innovation leader in high-frequency electronic design automation (EDA), today announced record revenues for the first half of its 2010 fiscal year, which ended September 30, 2009. The company also reported record profitability (EBITDA) for this same period, as well as the largest number of employees in its history. In contrast to competitors in the market sectors it serves, AWR is thriving and growing despite the uncertain economy.

AWR's performance in the first half of its current fiscal year (2010) was driven by consistent growth within existing aerospace and defense accounts as well as from new customers switching to AWR products from competing tools as they look to exit this recession with a competitive advantage.

“In these tumultuous times, trust has become a huge issue,” said Dane Collins, AWR CEO. “AWR’s continued success over the years and especially throughout this year-long economic recession attests to the fact that customers are convinced AWR is in the best position to support their long-term goals and is the one vendor committed to the RF and microwave market. Focusing on the productivity of our customers is a winning strategy. Delivering exceptional product technology and complementing that with a company culture that believes in going the extra mile to ensure the success of our customers is a powerful combination and one that is clearly working well for AWR."
