Leader Tech announced the completion of its Phase II, Global EMI Shielding Technology Center expansion. Since the grand opening announcement in May of 2008, Leader Tech has benefited from a notable increase in demand for the company’s board-level EMI Shielding products. The most recent expansion includes the addition of three domestic sales representatives, a new regional sales engineer and a dedicated 45-press manufacturing line.

Expanded Manufacturing

The enhanced manufacturing capacity is focused on satisfying new demand for the company’s Slot-Lok line of board level shields as well as an increase in custom application volumes. The new custom-designed press department gives customers the flexibility to create near-custom shielding solutions using standardized manufacturing methods. This unique manufacturing approach significantly reduces product cost and lead-times while increasing the customer’s design flexibility.

Similar capabilities are being developed for Leader Tech’s growing standard and custom precision Beryllium Copper shielding products.

New Sales and Engineering Staff

The growth within Leader Tech’s expanding product line will be supported by multiple additions to the technical sales team. The recent appointment of three Technical Sales Representatives include: Harthun Associates for the Rocky Mountain region; Win-Cor Electronic Sales for the NJ/NY Metro region; and Admor Sales for Southern California. Additionally, Eric Arroyo was hired as a Regional Sales Engineer for the Midwest region based in the Chicago metro area.

These recent manufacturing, staff and sales representative additions strengthen Leader Tech’s commitment to providing the industry best in customer service, technical support and US-based manufacturing capabilities.
