Push/Pull Plug

The DPP is a quick disconnect, N series plug that utilizes a positive push/pull coupling design that will mate to any common N type receptacle. The patented push/pull mechanism provides a quick and reliable connection that reduces assembly to a fraction of the time required to mate and torque a common threaded N plug. Simply push the plug onto any common N receptacle until the blue line is viewed. This indicates that it is fully mated. When fully mated, the DPP plug maintains a secure, positive lock on the receptacle, maintaining a positive constant pressure at the interface at all times. The DPP plug also incorporates audible, tactile and visual indicators as immediate verification of a positive, secure connection. The push/pull mechanism is designed to allow this connector to be utilized in close proximity to obstructions and low profile, confined applications.

TEST EQUIPMENT

Multi-band Loop Test Translators

These multi-band loop test translators were designed to simulate the satellite link during ground station set-up and alignment. These translators feature switchable frequency bands, thereby accommodating multiple transponders or multiple satellites within a single 1U rack unit. These translators provide both a reduction in valuable rack space usage and an improvement in test routine workloads for both fixed and mobile satellite stations.

V-band LNA Test Receiver

The model P60-1B is an economical design for performing noise figure testing of V-band low noise amplifiers. The receiver operates over a 10 GHz bandwidth in V-band with full bandwidth coverage as an option. The LO is derived using a 3X multiplier or with an optional 4X multiplier. The IF covers 10 to 500 MHz. RF to IF gain is 25 dB typical and DSB noise figure including the loss of the Faraday isolator is 6.5 dB typical and 8 dB maximum. Without the isolator typical noise figure is 5 dB.

Differential Probe

The model P7350 is a 5 GHz differential probe and has bandwidth and risetime verifiable by industry-accepted methodologies. The P7350 differential probe meets the needs of designers who must acquire differential signals at data rates of up to 2.5 Gbit/s. Designed for use with the company's oscilloscopes in the TDS6000, TDS7000 and CSA7000 series, it eclipses the bandwidth of the P7330 3.5 GHz differential probe. The P7350 is a companion to the single-ended active probe, 6 GHz P7260. Both types of probes are commonly used in the design and troubleshooting of high speed digital systems.
